Question about a person who was singing in this movie

Who was the lady who was singing "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" at the nursing home? Was that Nancy Wilson? If it was, she was not credited in the closing credits at the end of the movie. I could swear I saw the same lady singing on an episode of "New York Undercover" and on that show, she was the person who was credited with a special guest appearance (Nancy Wilson). Could someone please answer this question for me?

"I'd be very happy to be myself if I could remember who I am. Who am I?"

I believe that was Delores "Mom" Winans, the mother of the Gospel Winans singers (BeBe, CeCe, The Winans, etc). David "Pop" Winans passed earlier this year.

I hope that helps!

It's quite possible that it wasn't who I thought it was. Sometimes people are uncredited in movies and it makes me wonder who it was...I just know she sang that song very well. I liked her version.

Yes, it was Delores Winans, according to her IMDB page:

Thanks for pointing that out. Also, when I've watched the movie various times, I never heard the person she played in the movie addressed by name, but since more than one person is telling me the same thing, I'm inclined to believe what I'm told here.
