JUST SAY NO

i touched on this topic in another post but i wanted to start a new topic on it. Dont you think this tape or similar ones is what should be played at schools for kids? We should show kids that THIS is your life on drugs, not an egg being cracked in a pan, THIS is what your life will look like. Does that look "cool"?

Unless they had used already, they likely wouldn't be matured enough to fully appreciate the documentary as an adult would, but I'd say it would be definitely more effective than those anti drug commercials you referenced. The DARE program in 5th grade didn't work for me personally besides educate me about what drugs were out there and the side effects. At 16 I first used drugs out of curiousity and from there it's been an on and off activity ever since. Never any addiction, strictly recreational, but now I'm 26 and view drugs as a passing phase in my life, and if I did them again a total waste of money for just a temporary escape from reality. Not to mention potentially dangerous because you don't have the slightest idea what is used to cut certain drugs with.
