The Cop scenes were fake right?

The one where Michelle goes into the car of the guy and has a conversation with him before she pulls out her fake badges. The audio for that sounded so set-up.

reply

It was real. Okay. I don't know that for sure but I just wanted to answer your post.

It's real, take it from someone in the game, that *beep* is reeeal easy if you got a female partner, used to pull it on people all the time, guys plays pimp, chick goes with, she can do that, or the guy can roll up saying he's a cop. It's real, please believe.

reply

I thought the exact same thing. Something just didn't seem right.

reply

The audio from the car scene was redone, in the beginning of the movie it said that it contains no narration and no special effects. To stay true to this, they simply voiced over the men's voices. They didnt distort them.

She didn't betray me. You have know someone to call it betrayal

reply

that *beep* was ridiculously fake. Guy just hands over 90 bucks. Thats bull. I'da told her to arrest me. Then see what she says. Real cops don't ask for money to donate to a shelter, they arrest you, and it ain't the cop in the car with you, its the dozens that swarm you right after you solicit.

reply

just because things seem improbable, doesn't mean they don't happen. and when put in dire situations, peoples reactions and actions become more unpredictable... which, i believe is the wonder of watching a true objective documentary. you ever bang dope, Project Pat?

reply

as a matter of fact i do every day. i live in chicago and i go to the west side and score.

reply

Definitely a fake. They did a voice over to make it all dramatic.

"You can go home in a plastic bag tonight, John."
Vinnie "Big Chris" Jones

reply

I wondered too about him not consenting. His voice must have been altered. I am amazed at how easily he took the bait. Orphanage?? Come one! I always say you never know how you'll react in stressful situations but a hooker feeding me that line would need to produce a bit more for me to fold.

i came on this board to say i thought it was fake.too .so now i know i am not the only one who thought that.but i agree with what one of the posters said.i think they just had an actor redub the audio for legal purposes.

reply

i was praying that she would get in the car with an undercover cop and get busted right as she tried to pull her scam. impersonating a police officer is a felony.

reply

I see no real re4ason to wish anything worse on these people. Would being busted bring them down a peg or up one? Having a place to lay down inside and some food would be an upgrade. I'm sure they already have a record and it may be a felony, but it's hardly going to keep them off the streets permanently. I understand it's hard to feel compassion for these people. But it's also pretty easy to understand they are being punished for what they do every minute of every day.
