Which part disgusts you most?

A. Toilet water used for injecting various substances.

B. Matt storing crack vial in @$$crack.

C. Michelle in general. (Includes incessant wailing/whining of "SEBAAAAASSSTTTIANNNN!!!", horrific bent-needle injection scene and interaction with son.)

D. Tracy's Dad. Period.

E. Matt's bj by the creepy, homosexual, AIDS patient guy.

F. Sebastian's kick-in-the-pants to girlfriend Michelle. (Which I enjoyed tremendously.)

G. Something I've forgotten. Please add your thoughts.

The part where Matt darts his tongue back in forth in anticipation of shooting up.

Also, the part when we hear Sebastian's john say "Got any c*m in those balls?"

I think the Matt BJ wins. Those guys were creepy as sh!t. The part where Sebastian kicked Michelle just made me sad. I liked those two. Tracy and Matt mostly annoyed me. Well, really it was the fact that Tracy's dad completely supported them and beyond. That's just sick.

I guess there's just two kinds of people... my kind of people, and @ssholes! ~~ Connie Marble

i felt like crying whenever sebastian kicked michelle. that was by far one of the saddest things ever. she probably had no idea where she even was, and i just felt so bad for her i guess. i agree, tracy & matt's characters were very very frustrating and i couldn't stand them because of the way they just feed off eachother like that and their father, it made no sense to me! i hated the sex parts, i think that bj scene was the most disturbing thing i've ever seen. that stuff happens behind closed doors every day and it just goes to show how badly they want their drugs and crap. this was the most effecting and shocking documentary ever ;_______; i still cant get it out of my head

I agree with wickid...I just HAPPENED to tune in during that scene and with the initially subdued lighting, thought I had stumbled onto some soft-core porno--when I saw the participants, I nearly lost my dinner. Odd that I kept watching but like others have said, it's that "bad train wreck" mindset.

I had mixed emotions about Sebastian's throwing/kicking Michelle to the ground. On the one hand, she verbally abused the hell outta him, but she didn't deserve to make contact with the pavement.

As for Michelle's scam on potential johns, I can't believe that the johns weren't tipped off by her lack of police photo ID. I realize that it's easy to give in to fear when you hear the word "detective" or "arrest", but folks should know that police badges/shields are in a folio alongside a photo ID of the officer. If TV shows like "Law and Order" and "CSI" don't clue people in, what about those visits from "Officer Friendly" when you were in grammar school? HELLLLOOOOOOOO!!!!!! OK...so it's a detail that won't get resolved, but I just can't believe people were THAT duped. Oh let's not overlook the fact that as a drugged-out skank, she's not even REMOTELY sexy--johns would have to be enormously desperate!!!!

When Michelle was trying to shoot up with the bad syringe. That scarred me for life.

Not surprising this person thinks the two guys were emotionally stable.

Most crackheads and junkies in general don't have health insurance and frustrate health workers who are required under oath to help them when they come in half dead and with severe heart disease.

I'm talking about the doctor who had to leave his house at 3am because a crack or cocaine user had a heart attack in their house. If they hadn't of used a drug that causes the heart to overreact- the attack wouldn't have happened. Doctors don't complain about this stuff much because they accept it somehow- but it doesn't make it right.

So if you think you're responsible enough to use recreational drugs- GET INSURANCE so at least the doctors and anyone else who had to help you will at least not completely suffer with your decisions.

Even the crackheaded junkies in this show let hundreds of dollars slip through their fingers in the pursuit of the crap that they do. They could have bought some health insurance with a small portion of that. They're so thin and their teeth are so rotton that it's only a matter of time before their bodies are finished.

I'm confused, are you actually defending the crack addicts and junkies?

This is what disgusts me most:

1. In the course of this movie, thousands of dollars were completely wasted to support these people's habit. They might look like bums but they're richer than a lot of people. Ironic, no?

2. other people suffer horribly because of them and they don't care.

3. I used to live in that neighborhood (around astor place in the village) and I got coffee from that starbucks and shopped at the Kmart more than once. So a lot of those public bathrooms- I used. The thought of being where a dope fiend did drugs makes my skin crawl. Truth is- most public bathrooms have probably been frequented by dope fiends.

4. when Matt put his false teeth on the floor of the bathroom when he lost his drugs- you totally know he didn't wash the damn thing ever.

5. When the cab driver didn't even notice when Matt and Tracy smoked crack in the car. How could he not realize that?

Part that I actually found to be enlightening:

Here's Matt- emaciated crackhead, heroin addict, and prostitute. His teeth are falling out of his mouth and he lives on the street. But he still flung around a racial slur towards black people.

Witnessing that had to be one of the only times where the concept of a racist was completely irrational. This is a guy who needs the compassion of everyone because he lived like a sewer rat in this movie. Everyone who was ever frustrated with a racist- especially a white supremacist should watch this movie. And every time a racist bothers you- remember Matt.

I'd rather stare at a dogs ass than sit through any part of this disgusting movie again. BTW - does anyone think those cop scam scenes were set-up? I cannot imagine anyone in the city being that stupid.

Oh yeah, what were they injecting?

"The most" is certainly not applicable in this case because you and I both know all of that *beep* was just as disgusting as the other. Another thing is that I dont pity drug users, I really dont. No matter which walk of life you came from or how you got/forced hooked onto the junk. In fact, I look at them in disgust in all honesty. My cousins(2) each of different side of the family/relations were into drugs. One got clean and the other is incarcerated. I don't pity them or look down on them. I do however look down on everyone else who is a drug addict and continues to be. I respect and certainly think better of those who were addicts and recovered. I don't say "cured" because detoxification or any other drug abuse program isn't a "cure." It isnt a 'cure' and in fact, each day out of incarceration or out of intervention, is still a battle against the addiction.

reply

doctors have to help disgusting smokers aswell. they did that to themselves just like crack addicts.

Seeing Tracy and Matt in their new apartment all paid for by daddy's money, after hearing Tracy going on about how they choose not to live that way and then seeing them celebrate by lighting up again. Makes it seem hopeless.

[deleted]

it was all sickening, but the worst was E.

reply

The point of the documentary is to be disgusting and bring to light the total depravity and loss of dignity these people deal with on a daily basis.

What was most disturbing is the way Tracy took advantage of her father. While the man fits the textbook deffinition of an enabler he is still a genuinely concerned parent. Disgusting is the heartbreak this man must feel; knowing he sent his daughter t oprivate school, provided a life above and beyond what most parents can ever dream to give their children and still his daughter is a filty drug addict.
It is funny that even on the street Tracy has managed to avoid doing anything. Matt prostitutes himself while she sits back and watches...she has a hardcore addiction and everyone is paying for it but her.

Question about the bent needle scene.
Michelle says Sebastian has to keep the needles straight blah blah blah. She seems very upset taht he is unable to do this. Is one of them HIV positive?

reply

I read on here that Sebastian is HIV+. However I still don't get that scene!!

Matt rinsing his needle with water from the toilet. Several parts of the movie, I shook my head and thought "That's so sad" or something similar, but at THAT scene, I freaked. And then I remembered it's been a while since I donated to my city's needle-exchange program.

reply

When Sebastian carries Michelle down the subway.. he did it like it was a regular thing and he wasn't surprised at all. very sad.
