I couldn't help but compare Michelle and Sebastian to Sid and Nancy.
Michelle always whining or freaking out and was the main source for getting the dope.
Sebastian, young and dumb like Sid and has a violent fit where he beats Michelle on the street. I can imagine that Sid stabbing Nancy was probably the same small kind of provocation.
And lastly....a heroin addicted couple in New York.
Excellent observation and analysis. My heart went out to Michelle while watching this.

Ya I felt sorry for her also. Of course #1 because she was a heroin/crack addict living a hard life. But #2 because she did ALL the work getting the dope and Sebastian didn't give a *beep* about her, he just followed her for free dope. If Michelle wasn't so co-dependant, she wouldn't have had to work HALF as hard to get her dope if she worked alone.
But maybe some people don't like to do dope alone.
But she could have found a better 'running partner'.
