Why does Oswalt make a toast to 'White Power?'

There is a scene at the end of the film where Oswalt makes a toast to "White Power." Why is that necessary? Is that humor?

It was a hillarious observation to the fact that it was a bunch of white people making a toast and it looked like a white power toast.

im black and i thought it was hillarious
