I want to buy this, but Im not sure if everyone is just switching over to city of villians. Will the people on city of villians be playing on the same servers/worlds as the people with city of heroes? Thanks.

Tons of people still play Heroes. Villains is a good new version of the game and it is fun with some interesting new contacts and things but it's basically all the same game. Most people own and play both as the monthly payments cover playtime for both. So if you buy a city of heroes game card you get to play both Heroes and Villains for 2 months. The only places in the game where both heroes and villains are present are in PvP (player vs. player) zones and the arenas.

From my experiences, the "Hero" parts of the game are much more populated than the "Villain" parts...

I wanna play this game I have the damn box right here I just think its kinda unfair that you pay for the game but then you have to pay xtra to actually play it, I mean I work so I dnt get to play alot of games , so paying monthly really sux for me.
You would have thought thay maybe they could do a free version.
I know it sounds like im bein a cheap ass. but I already pay monthly for my net i just think its kinda stupid these games were you have to pay to actually play the game even though u bought the game lol
COH is a great game... I really dig it I've only done the trials I wish the fee was less... I mean I can get my Xbox live for like 6 months for the price of one month of COH.
And I like the people who play on COH it's better than any other game I've played... the only awkward thing is sometimes playing with people who don't speak english but most of the time you can work around that.
I wish the trials were allowed to do more you finally get to fly and then *piff you're done.

The players on Heroes are 10X better than WoWers anyway. And the game as a whole is just much more entertaining. WoW is such an overrated game - bored me after like 5 days of playing. Thank god it was a free trial. lol

Okay, here's the deal, now that it is 2008, whether or not you have decided to play the game or not, you can now purchase CoH/CoV to gether and have access to both games fo one price.
To answer the question about the monthly subscription fee, there is ALOT of work that oges into this game, and the develoers are workign everyday to make gameplay a better experience. Since it's inception CoH and Cov had had several updates (13 to be exact) which are free, as opposed to expantions like other games such as World of Warcraft which you have to pay for to get the new content. I would much rather pay 14.95 a month and get the free issues, which is what the upadates are called, then pay whatever WoW's sub fee is AND 30 dollars everytime they 'expand' the game. Also, if you don't play very often, it's ok, you can not pay one month and if you decide to play, you can just pay the fee later and you will still have your account. Mine was inactive for 4 motnhs one time, and when i finally had a chance to play again i paid the 14.95 and there my account was waiting for me, plus i go all the issues i missed.
IMO, this is the best MMORPG out there.
