Legget's death wasn;'t that emotional for me because you knew he was gonna die from the first mission.

The tank commander's death was sad.

And Doyles in Earned in blood.

Definitley Allen and Garnetts death, they were begining to be my favorites wheni first played it through, then they died.
Risners death was sad too.
You never really find out how Muzzah died till Earned in Blood.
desola's death was really sad just because how graphic it was.
Cant say i was too sad about Rivas, he didnt even have any lines.
Legget was sad, but like somoene above me said, i knew it was coming, but i felt bad for him.
I didnt know anything about Obrieski, so i wqasnt too sad.
Doyles death was a huge surprise, i wasnt excpecting him to blow up completely like that, that was really sad, so was Paiges death.

i get sad even when they die during the gameplay, like when i make a bad choice, or send them to a bad position. lol

Risner got hit by a Panzerfaust, yeah. But was he snapping off a few dying shots? Or did a German manage to hit him, after the ensuing firefight?

That's true about Rivas. I actually didn't know about Rivas until I checked online. Same with Muzza. I never really knew he was in the game, until I checked around. But in the plane, the only thing I heard above the clamor [after the plane gets hit] was "Corrion's hit! Corrion's hit!"

Obrieski doesn't really say too, too much. He is more mentioned than Rivas, however. And he at least has one line before he gets plugged.
It probably sadder because I read the descriptions in the manual.

And I'm quite ashamed. I still have the last two levels in Earned in Blood to go. I can take out the first tank, but the two groups of Germans is hell. There's virtually no cover to flank them sucessfully. I haven't seen what happened to Doyle or Paige.

oops, sorry dude i spioled the death of Doyle anf Paige for u

reply

Not really. It's been spoiled for me since I bought the game -_-. Yeah, I'm like that. Every game I play, either I know the plot twist before I beat it, or a friend lets it slip.
Plus, browsing on YouTube, I saw it. Man, if they put this on the 360 as a BC, I definitely wanna see it on 720p.

Muzza is easy to miss, it wasn't until I played through about the second time that I realized somebody had to have missed the jump. I was on my Authentic playthrough before I heard Baker's mention of him. I didn't think much about him until the flashback in EiB.

if you get past the 3rd cutscene on earned in blood,

(after the chateau level i think)

you unlock a letter from muzza to his family

The worst for me was most certainly Allen and Garnett.

I still chuckle at their lines...

Mac: Knock it off! There's enough bull**** around here to fill a swimming pool.

Garnett: Why would anyone...

Mac: Don't!

LOL

Or.

Mac: Go say hello the airborne way.

Allen: You mean shoot them?

Mac: Yes, obviously, private Allen.

Allen: It just that... I've never heard anyone say it that way before. You could just say shoot!

Mac: Well smart***, you're with me!

I'm a very sarcastic person aswell, so they easily grew on me. It's sad when they die and Leggett blames himself for it too.

Risner's death was the second worst for me.

reply

1) Muzza
2) Risner
3) Allen and Garnett
4) Rivas
5) Desola
6) Obreiski
7) Leggett (well technically you see him die first)

Obi's death was unexpected and graphic, I read the manual before I played it so I knew a bit more about him than was mentioned in the game. The way hes just smoking a cigarette and gets plugged and falls off the roof of the church with his helmet still there.

Risner's death was also saddening too cause my grandpa was a tank commander in WW2 and he offered up good tank support.

The worst probably being Allen and Garnett cause I thought they were awsome when they were firing the bazooka at the barn and cussing at eachother (which was one of the first times I heard cussing in a WW2 game which is another reason I love BIA) and then you find there bullet ridden bodies with there 45's out and Leggets just standing there
