And here's a comment from Paul Kampf (writer/director of American Gothic) from the Beloit Wisconsin Film Festival:

"While some are seasoned pros when it comes to the world of film festivals, for others, BIFF will provide the very first audiences to their debut productions.

“American Gothic,” a feature film written and directed by Paul Kampf - which received significant funding from BIFF Premier sponsors, Ken and Diane Hendricks - premiered at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Kampf said it was both strange and exciting to see the film as a finished product.

“It's very nice to see this maiden voyage sail. It's the first time it will be shown, and it will be showing at other film festivals in Europe soon,” Kampf said. “It will be exciting to see it here and hopefully around the world.”

More festivals in Europe. Maybe it will makes it way back to North America and show at Toronto or the New York Film Festival???!!!

Or, dare we hope, Tribeca in April/May?
