X Factor AU 2016 Live Show 1

A pretty good start to the live shows.

I was glad to see Beatz picked up by Mel. This one was obvious, but Beatz can become the next big girl group with the right push and opportunity. Maddison was my second choice from that category, I wish it was Ivy, but she's still a good singer and deserved the spot. I just don't get Vlado's appeal, but the crowd loves him so I understand him going through.

This judging panel doesn't quite have the chemistry down, but they all seem to try so we'll see how it goes. I miss Chris Isaak and James Blunt fighting though.

This was a pretty good show tonight. This should be a fun season.

The group performance was really poor on the results show, but they usually are so that's no shock.

Jessica Mauboy's cover was okay.

I don't like "Ain't My Fault" but Zara's performance delivered. She's really rising into superstar status.
