I recently came across "When a Stranger Calls Back", sequel to "When a Stranger Calls" (which I didn't find that scary). The first half hour scared the eff out of me! Not a lot does that. If you want a good scare, watch that with the lights off!

waaait.. are you talking about the one that shows on Liftetime?
and the killer turns out to be a ventriloquist who paints himself to blend in with walls??! lol.
i'll admit that the first scene was good, and even some of the parts in her apartment were creepy... but that whole movie fell apart in the last act with that reveal.
