What a fascinating documentary

This is by far one of my favorite documentarys. I've read many books on the doomed Gallipoli campaign and the horrible living and even worse fighting conditions . From Lone Pine to the trenches this documentary leaves out no subject matter. Jeremy Irons is always a great narrarator and from the beginning training of the Anzacs and the Austrailian troops in Cairo to their doomed voyage across the Dardenelles straits against a very determined Turkish army. This documentary was fantastic and is a shining light in a dark and almost forgotten campaign that Churchill and his commanders grossly were wrong and led men to pure slaughter. EXCELLENT 10/10 on this one. If your a war buff or like the history of "The Great War" you won't want to miss this one

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!
