I wonder what was Larent conidered telling Darrin before he told his friend that he deserved some rest since he earned it.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, so I am trying to remember the ending, but I do remember Gavner coming to talk to Crepsley. I would assume it was about leaving for Vampire Mountain.

Oh you mean the movie?

Well he wanted Darren Rested since Larten if they continued Larten would have taken the trials of death.

As such Darren takes them and is quite changed from his appearance of a half vampire

Fire trial and

Boar challenge
