Ghosts exist in this movie?

Its irony that the protagonist was looking for ghosts and find a demonic room instead. The room was reality warping with the purpose too make him kill himself. My question is this. Are any of the ghost inside the room real or are just create by the room with reality warping?

I called it demonic for Its nature to torture and kill humans,of course it can be something complete different but i see it as demonic. The only sure think is that is no human or ghost.

In one of the versions, once Cusack's killed by the fire, he's seen walking in the room. I believe it's a combination of ghosts/mind games (the apparition of his daughter) and dimensional overlaps/stone tape (the suicide lady ).

I think the fact that we hear his daughter on the tape shows the movie is about ghosts and demons...

I don't think that it implied anything about demons other than the fact that he was in some kind of personal hell and some mythologies have demons that torment people in hell-like places as an afterlife punishment for things done in life.

The hotel owner could have been a demon or the devil, but in the ending I saw (non-theatrical main, I think), it made it seem as if he was surpised by the supernatural. Personally, I thought that scene was a major inconsistency. I wish it wasn't in there.

Everything could have been in his mind as he was dying as well. I guess it's not explained and therefore left up to the viewer to contemplate.

I'm still not sure if there ever were any ghosts. It seemed to be all to do with his psyche, whether a supernatural hell or one he dreamed up in his head.
