It's a shame shows like Naruto and Yugioh GX get 20 encores a week on CN and Bobobo dosent get any. And it was really the kick-in-the-ass cartoon network's anime block needed

They have a ton of serious shows during Tonami and they put Bobobo at the end to lighten things up. :D

It's an amazing show, and it serves as a perfect transition from Toonami to Adult Swim.
Sure it makes no sense, and has references to the strangest things (anybody catch the homage to Ninja Gaiden for the NES?)
It rocks my socks off.
It is an amazing show. It's definitely one of the funniest animes I have ever watched, though I think FLCL beats it in terms of sheer wierdness.

shareI acually think the *cough* one manga *cough* is more insane, i saw it once...but ya, the entire show is based off one manga, that has no story line at all (as far as i can tell, it was just a fight and Yugi from Yu-gi-oh poped outa Bobo-bo-bobobo's hair at one point. It was freaky...

the english dub's dialog has been changed a bit because americans wouldn't get a lot of the jokes. i watched a few subbed episodes of it and the jokes were still pretty funny, although i understand why they changed it.

The theme park they went to that takes up this story ark is in the manga, and in the japanese text writen on screen Haleluya Land (or Hareruya Rando), but the dun calles it Holy Guacamole Land for some reason... so that gives you an idea of the fact they do change some things, and that the manga is more accurate.
