"how can you watch this crap?" uhh...lets see.. it usually starts with me turning on the television, tuning to the proper channel, and pointing my eyes in the direction of the television... sometimes i use a DVD, but that is an ENTIRELY different story that i shant delve into.

shareI watched this show today, i love dumb animated comedy, I love South Park, Aqua Teen hunger Force, Robot Chicken but this show sucked, I felt that it just had nothing to say to me at all, it was just various images and kids talking over them, it was just boring and *beep* seriously why do you like it?

To me, it's funny. While you may see it as pointless, I see it as genuinely creative and thoughtful. In my view, WS also seems to have a clear point of view and uses transgressive visuals/speech to underscore that point of view. In some sketches, there seems to be no "point" other than the subjective appraisal of the viewer, but even these sketches point to a nihilistic or Dadaistic intent.
Why do you like South Park, Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
Talking? During Horsehead bookends?
South Park is one of the smartest shows on TV, it handels delicate subject extremely well
Robot Chicken is just Family Guy with out the annoying characters or bad plot lines, just the funny flashbacks

That voids his credibility? When I read the line about South Park being the smartest show on TV because of what it "handELs" I just couldn't continue. At least not until I stopped laughing at the irony.

shareYeah with name like saprizebuttsacks i'm not under the impression that my taste in humour is bad. Wonder Showzen like South Park uses shock humour to entertain wile giving you a subversive message.

Martin = Funny 90's sitcom (nothing groundbreaking)
Dexters Laboratory = i never said i liked the humor its more of a nostalgia thing
geez just because i post in a certain shows/movies board doesnt mean its my favorite show. Maby i should make a list on my profile so i can show people who spend their worthless lives on this site what i like.

i think this show is really funny but i agree....there are some questionable things in a few skits....that they just shouldn't be donig when kids are involved.

I was watching this show again last night. It's always funny. It never failed. And the social relevance this program had is unmatched by any other program I have ever seen.
The world needed Wondershowzen.
And now it needs it back.

America couldn't handle Wonder Showzen when it came out. This show is a real gem and a phenomenon waiting to happen when it becomes culturally renowned. I'm surprised Adult Swim never picked it up. I think if they began airing it, their ratings would definitely shoot up and we'd see a lot more outraged, horrified people calling attention to it. Just imagine what WS would have to say about current society. I knew I loved this back in 2005 and I love it still.
