Hello - I don't hear well and I need subtitles to understand the dialogue of most movies. I heard a rumor that the subtitles on this movie display the name of each character who speaks, yet the plot is that each of the characters does not know his own name because of amnesia and the five men must figure out who is whom. Would watching this movie with the subtitles revealing each character's name ruin the whole movie? Or do their names not matter?

The characters are referred to by things like "broken nose" and "jean jacket". They do not use the actual names until they are known in the movie. So, no worries!

The subtitles adapt as the story movies forward. At first they are referred as jean jacket, handcuffed man, bound man, broken nose, etc. After the two hostages remember who they are, we see their names on the screen.
I was actually impressed by the subtitles.
