Question about Danny's role

Ok the RUF are not a normal army the are a bunch of untrained brainwashed savages you saw what happened when Danny got out of the plane at the start and met captain Rambo now he already had a meeting set up with commander zero but it didn't seam to bother any of the other (soliders ) that were there they would shot him with out thinking twice it's all about money they were trying to rob him before he got to see(zero) and the thing is it don't matter to them who they shoot it all about the money and power no loyalty it's the same over a lot of Africa there's always a coo somewhere where the army try's to turn over the government then when they do all they do is take all the money and move to another country before someone can do the same to them there all cut thoat , As the Colonel they where a security force paid by the government not the Sierra leaon army and they where soliders not miners it was a win win for them they would get the stones from the RUF and swap them for guns the the government would pay them to flush out the RUF and kill them that's how stupid the hole thing is it just keeps going round and round it's still happerning today they kill the head of the RUF then the RUF retrets into the bush for a year or two get a new head buy more guns then they kick off again bla bla bla

As the other poster stated, the RUF was unstable. His military pal wasn't supposed to be dealing with them but often made deals for diamonds. He was the opposition but both sides were greedy. Danny didn't always have the aid of his pal's resources but he would sometimes go it alone to keep all or at least a bigger part of the profit.
