The movie should have ended 17 minutes N 2 it

Reason?
The evil devil character who played Hank N the Supergirl TV series & tracked down Solomon's son N Blood D was made out to be a bloodthirsty killer in the first 5 or so minutes N 2 the picture...Someone who did not care about human life and would take it in a split second to get people to dig for diamonds...which he did
He shot someone without a blink of an eye...
However, if he were such an evil character
when he finds Solomon not taking a rest break & trying to bury the diamond, he puts the gun to Solomons head and says "give it to me"...

Hypocrisy, why did he just not shoot Solomon in the back of the head take blood diamond himself and run through the jungle before the government troops arrived??
Now he may not have gotten far but I think he would've gotten far enough away so as 2 where the government would not have caught him...
If he had done that? he would've had the diamond, he would've gotten out of Africa, which is what he wanted in the first place, and he would have both his eyes, and he would not be dead, Solomon would, thus the movie should've been over 17 minutes into it...
Am I the only one who sees this or has caught this character error or whatever you want to call it? The movie should've been over at that moment? If I were him I would've just blown Solomon's head off, took the diamond and run through the jungle

Are you talking about Danny Archer?
If so, you dont get the point of that movie.
Danny seemed to care about no one but this movie is his transformation, he unknowingly changed the world by leting Salomon go away with a diamond. If it happened your way this movie would suck lol

I believe he was going to shoot him in front of everyone else to make an example of him as he did with the other guy ... personally, I would have just quietly stabbed him and left quietly without anyone noticing so I wouldn't have to share it with everyone else.

He didn't have to share it with anyone else though. Nobody else knew he had it. He could have shot him in front of the rest of the camp for any reason.

We have to show the world that not all of us are like him: Henning von Tresckow.

reply

True... he even could have shot him for no reason whatsoever.
