I saw the film Welcome to North Korea by indepedant European (I think they were from the Netherlands) filmmakers and it was an incredible film. I am wondering if this film, North Korea: A Day in the Life, is the same.
I think Western obsession about "bending the rules" is a sign of a deep emotional immatiruty. Why don't you try to accept the rules once, for a chance, instead of acting like an overgrown teenager - and then see what happens? I am just back from North Korea, and it's a great country, with wonderful, very warm and very human people - and I never felt any urges of "bending" any rules, because I respect their right to be different and to live their own way. Can you at least make an attempt to understand that not everybody in the world wants to live YOUR way?
Two to three million famine deaths? Widespread malnutrition? General unavailability of basic medical advancements? Tens of thousands of refugees fleeing to China? Those trying to leave shot on sight? Unable to travel between cities without a permit? Yeah, THEIR way is just as good as MY way indeed... Pull your head out of your ass, you whack job.
