Did you watch KANK
in the theater or on DVD? Why? I notice that most recent comments are positive - were you guys turned off by early bad publicity?
BTW - do not forget to vote for the film on IMDb.

I would love to see it on the big screen, but that's not possible in my country, so I bought the DVD the moment it came out (well, ordered it from UK and waited for the mail to bring it...)
There is a film festival in Helsinki every autumn and they always show 1 or 2 hindi films. I can't decide which I wish for more, KANK or Don. But I really hope it's one of those two (Maybe Don, because it would be awesome on the big screen). But usually the hindi films they show are SRK films, so there is a good chance....

On a DVD at home. Difficult to see it in theater since I go to school in the middle of nowhere. And I watched it after hearing one bad review after another.
I Loved it. I like the fact that Riya (Preity's character) threw Dev out after he deliberately got hitched with Rani.
I think most people who gave me bad reviews didn't like Rani's character, and the fact that she cheated on a seemingly loving husband for inconsequent reasons according to them.
In a multiplex because the story enticed me. It was a new & daring concept which I am glad was tried and disappointed that most of the audience did not like. They say the audience has grown as they accept adult themes in movies like murder but they have not really grown if they have not yet understood and acknowledged the presence of relationships like the ones in this movie.
shareFirst Bollywood film I've ever watched in the cinema. Wasn't disappointed with it at first, but after I had thought about it and watched it again, I realize that it was perhaps one of the most poorly written movies I had seen in a while. Johar had some good ideas but they were laid to waste by his inept writing and characterization, he's good at making everything an aesthetic experience but poor at making it an intimate one.
