Favorite Indian Films

Jodhaa Akbar is so far my favorite Indian film, with the strongest production film I have ever seen

This film is world class quality

Favorite Indian Films:

- Jodhaa Akbar
- Devdas
- Mangal Pandey
- Mohabbatein
- Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
- Lagaan
- Fanaa
- Umrao Jaan
- Aladin
- Asli Naqli

I don't understand the language as a French Canadian, but I certainly appreciate the good musical numbers, and the good story telling, thanks to sub-titles :-)

Open to more classic Indian Movie recommendations, especially involving Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Aishwarya Rai; Maybe they should put all 3 together in one masterpiece film

THE GREATEST INDIAN LEGEND EVER TOLD :-)

I know nothing of the main religion in India, but maybe that story could be told on film, like the movie The Bible, or Jesus Of Nazareth, or The Ten Commandments, or more indirectly like Ben-Hur.

If you will like to learn about Indian Religion(Hinduism) and culture, you can watch the 1989-90 TV Series 'Mahabharat'. Remind you that Mahabharat is a great epic poem of Ancient India - 10 times Illeus and Oddyssey combined! However bad the cinematic quality that you may percieve of this TV show, it has been amply documented by Sociologist and Researchers that 'Not a soul could be found on the streets of India when Ramayan and Mahabharat were first aired on the TV, during their airing time" - obviously because of the huge cultural importance of these epics in Indian culture and Society.
Alternatively, you can watch the lectures of the UCLA Professor named 'Vinay Lal' on Youtube, on his channel of the same name. Here you will find some interesting and authentic information about Indian Civilization. I personally find them very interesting and addictive.
