I could understand the question if the movie was made by Hollywood, but since it's a Swiss made film, and you aknowledge yourself that it was a huge thing for Switzerland, I think it should be clear why someone would bother.
And of course, it's gonna be a huge success in Switzerland.
Saw it, really enjoyed it. It may not be the full truth, but it's a good movie that tells a capturing story. Go see!!

The Swissair Grounding definitely wasn't a "last page" news - it made it on the front page for days.
Great movie - eventhough it might not be the truth (but who knows the truth, then??). The banks are not the only guilty for this desaster - the managment made huge mistakes too.

Just how stupid are you? So it is okay for Hollywood to make movies about ANYTHING that happens in real life, even if some politician just happened to break wind in the wrong direction, but it's not ok for the Swiss movie industry to make a movie about the collapse of SwissAir - a happening that had a MASSIVE impact on the economy and was a huge blow to most people in Switzerland, since it was their only really big famous airliner and a big part of their identity?
Grow up.
