memento not the only movie

this movie might be mainly based on Memento but lot of other scenes and characters are inspired from other movies too.

the character Kalpana(Asin) is based on the title charecter from the movie 'Amelie' and also contains a few scenes from the movie.

the things happening around the body in a fast forward motion in the opening scene is taken from the movie 'From Hell'

one of the chase scenes plays the matrix soundtrack running in the background.

and this one is simple graphics done when the title card is taken from X-men

ohh my goodness you're right!!!
i thought it is a cool movie but now i see that the movie is just a copy!!
but i have to say that surya and asin are great in this movie!!

Yeah thats what I thought too.
By the way 'From hell' is crap. You will be better off reading the book on which it is based. Much better story, not at all a 'who done it'(You are told who done it even before the murders starts), scary and has a few really violent parts.

And all the w**ores and politicians will look up and shout “save us!”… And I’ll look down and whisper “no.”

plagiarism from the story,narrative elements,plot etc.........

its a disgrace to call it a rip-off actually it raped the beauty of MEMENTO

regarding Amelie ,the scene copied was the one in which Amelie guides a blind man through a market with narrating him about the environment

its obvious the director watches a lot of foreign films and hollywood as well, the end fight had shades of neo Vs smith as well as blade's bushido moves from the first film, not to mention the mua thai head crack!

lots of small scenes have been "Inspired"

but overall I wont call it a copy of momento

the reason is the look, feel and experience of momento is so vastly different that it doenst even come close to this, that is a masterpeice, and this a masala movie

Why...So..Serious? Let's put a smile on that face of yours!

Yeah, I'm watching it now and I noticed a scene from Amelie. Where she takes the blind man across the street with her.
