What does Ghajini mean?

Watched Ghajini (Tamil) after watching the Hindi remake and found that the villain in the movie is not called Ghajni as in the Hindi remake. So what is the meaning of Ghajini or why is the movie named Ghajini?

Thank you.

"there is no sense in glorifying a villain by giving the name of the movie in the villains name. Makes no sense."

a bit too simple-minded thinking, isnt it?

You know what he meant.

And Mohammed Ghazni was someone who needs to be glorified? He was a bandit and a robber, who just plundered temples! you are hopeless, da! I am sure the tamil version sucked more than the hindi one haha!!

It means Gazini Mohammed the king who is well known for winning a war in the seventeenth attempt(dont remember the exact place, date and things). The point is he nver gave up, now think about the hero of this movie who doesnt have a clue of what hes doing but still wants to take the revenge for his love. makes sense
