Recommend me similar movies?

I loved this movie! It was so funny and cute, but are there other similar movies I would enjoy? The French do it so much better...

Try another movie by Gad Elmaleh & Audrey Tautou called "Hors de prix" (or "Priceless").

Le Dîner de Cons is a hilarious comedy by the same director as this one. It's also called "The Dinner Game."
In fact, there is a reference at the end of this film to it.

what was the reference to "le dîner de cons"?? I missed that..

Pignon gives his father the birthday gift of a corkscrew which the father places among his large collection on the wall. When his father then says, "My collection is getting famous! In fact, I was invited to a dinner to talk about my corkscrew collection!" I almost died laughing.

Avenue Montaigne is excellent.

The Girl Next Door is somewhat similar.

yes, I second what Moon says. I saw this one recently and it's excellent. "I Do" is the English title. Also try Ma Femme est une actrice. really funny and real.

There are other movies by Veber where he uses these characters, so that's a good start (others have mentioned one - The Dinner Game - excellent!) but also try the The Closet.

I agree. The French do indeed do it so much better. They make those movies that bring a smile to my face like nobody else.

I enjoyed The Valet very much. Heartbreaker and Populaire, both with Romain Duris, are excellent. In fact, I kept thinking of Heartbreaker while I was watching The Valet. They both have a similar feel and mood.
