It could be a lot better and Hollywood could do it. Do you just completly hate Hollywood? Cause this movie has potential and I'm sure it could be done alot better than the original. Hollywood has the $$$ and it's what they do best. Most of the best movies EVER came for Hollywood. Why all the hate?

The hate stems from the fact hollywood is using asian horror as a cheap way to get stories without paying for full writers, they completely mutilate stories thinking their audience won't get it and we end up with something unrecognisable.
Hollywood do not make many original movies any more and no amount of money will renew my faith in their ability to translate a movie.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if Hollywood remakes this movie and you don't like it, don't watch it. It won't change the original one iota. Just saying "Hollywood doesn't make any thing original any more" or "Hollywood would only make it worst" or "they just don't want to pay writers", just all sounds like sour grapes. For one reason or another you just hate Hollywood. I personnally think Hollywood is full of silly leftwing liberal communists, but I give credit where credit is due and Hollywood is hands down the best at what they do.

No it isn't. I've lived and worked here for 20 years, in the heart of old Hollywood, a stone's throw from Paramount Studios, and frankly, you don't know what you're talking about.
