In the eye of the beholder
Not many Slovenian movies brought up such various critics and opinions. Some think it's stupid, unoriginal, other just love it. Just for an example- this is one of the most interesting reviews of a well-known critic: http://www.jigsawlounge.co.uk/film/content/view/129/1/
But...numbers speak for themselves-around 25,000 have seen the movie in the cinema, probably 3 times as many at home on the computer...Quotes and jokes from Tu pa tam can be heard on the street every day, music from soundtrack is played on radio regularly.
I went to the movie with no great expectations, 'cos last Slovenian film I've seen (Kajmak & marmelada) was a bit of a disappointment for me...
What can I say...I liked it! Me and my friends were laughing through whole movie. We went to see a comedy and we've got just what we paid for! Funny dialogs, interesting and fresh directing, natural and good-looking actors...What more can you ask for on a dull Saturday night???
My favorite part is the beginning - quick shots, black and white pictures, original introduction of the characters...Okorn really scores with it!!!
What are,by your opinion, the highest and lowest points???
