Brave film

The film deals with tension between young Koreans and Japanese set in Japan after Korean war.
Focus is on the teenagers of that era and their relationship with their own race, culture, ideologies, friends and family.
It is not a popular subject matter but it was made with confidence.

It has a light touch in places and some heavy hitting scenes making the tone uneven at times but powerful nonetheless.
The ending is very touching and uplifting.

I'd like to say this to the makers: Thank you for making this film. It means a lot to a Korean who lived most of his life in foreign countries.
