Some post communist thief built his estate around Slobozia with all the repro kitsch you could think of. There's an Eifel tower, a Southfork replica (the farm from Dallas) and god knows what else. Turns out, he's now serving time for various financial crimes and the bank got his property. The crook's name is Ilie Alexandru.

I laughed so hard when I saw that scene.. and even if the tower didn't exist I can actually imagine the sort of person who would find it brilliant to have one in the middle of nowhere. Priceless
