Film Company (where to buy Champion cheap!)

Go to www.championmovie.com. You can get the flick for $14.99(US), but I don't recall what the shipping is. Either way, you're supporting the independant filmmakers directly, rather than them getting their "cut of the action" if you bought it from an online shop for $24.99(US), plus shipping. (Not to mention it's VERY hard to find online - the $25 quote was from Barnes and Noble online, the only "store" I could see that sells it!).

*WARNING* - I hope the film company has "straightened up", but it took them almost 8 weeks to get me my copy of the movie. About 3-4 weeks after I sent them my name, address, and the money (via Paypal), they sent an email out to all the people who ordered the documentary, saying that there were "staffing problems"; and then another one some weeks later saying "sorry for the delay, we'll send everyone who's already ordered 'Champion' TWO copies of the DVD.". Also, they refused to answer ANY of the 5 emails I sent them. I was going to actually start proceedings to get my money back (yet another advantage to paying with Paypal) next week, but the 2 copies of the documentary showed up yesterday.

So, if you don't mind risking less than $20 for a freakin' AMAZING documentary about an AMAZING dude, contact www.championmovie.com. They might have "solved their issues" by now; I was just posting my personal trials and tribulations re: ordering the DVD.
