Who hates Shannyn Sossamon?

I do! I do!

Yet another film where she plays a thoroughly loathsome character in a completely lackluster way.

It's difficult for me to watch a film where I can't sympathize with a single character, and that is exactly what happened to me with this movie.

From her whining to her complete inability to pronounce "Henri" as anything other than "Henry", she was appallingly annoying. At one point when she was repeatedly calling after "Henry", "Waah, waah, slow down, you're going too fast, I can't see anything," I actually said aloud, "Shut UP, bitch."

Ugh.

Yes she is beyond beautiful, which does make up a lot for her average acting ability, but I agree, the character she plays is utterly unbearable and I too was shouting at the screen and had total sympathy for her sister, having had to put up with her moronic, narcissistic, selfish, 'fragile' sister her whole life. Different parents obviously - both of em!

I would've hated anyone with that stupid haircut, but it turns out she's a horrible actress in the bargain. And since most of the movie was focused on her, it became really tedious. If you want to see badly-framed footage of somebody constantly crying and screaming in a poorly-lit environment, while occasionally saying an awkwardly-delivered line that makes her sound like a moron, then this is the movie for you. I don't know that being a bad actress is enough to "hate" her, but I don't want to see anything else she's in, nor would I hire the person who did the casting for this movie if I was making one.

I used to be obsessed with her. I owned nearly all her movies on DVD. In 2003-ish she was like the "It" girl at that moment, circa Rules of Attraction. After that she kind of fell off though, I think due to the time off for her pregnancy. She's one of the few girls who can pull of short hair well. I have to say it was kind of interesting to be so obsessed with her, eventually grow out of it, but then years later follow her on instagram and leave a comment and have her respond to my comment. It was like coming full circle.
