went 2 watch this today and its by far the best film i've seen this year best film ive seen from bobby and akshay its funny its got alot of love in the film and tears and i was deffo in tears b4 the intermission till the end wanted it 2 b a happy ending but it wasn't :(
i wud give this film a 10/10 its a must watch film!
My reaction after seeing the movie was also WOW. Definitely a good emotional movie, and a "career-best peformance" from Akshay Kumar -- I cried twice.
It's among my 7 favorite Hindi films of the year. 8.5/10.
i have to agree. this is the best film of 2005.Akshay is fabulous and Bobby is getting better in every film. If he keeps on doing big films with big stars he will be a great success.

Ummm ... There's no need to tear down Dosti just to praise a movie you liked. Personally I thought RDB had a horrible ending and didn't convey its message well at all, but do you see me posting on the RDB board going "Ummmm have you ever heard of a movie called Swades? RDB just is sensationalist tripe that pretends to make you think about corruption by depicting shocking patricide. Woop-dee-doo. It doesn't hold a candle to Swades. blah blah ... it sucked."
As for your saying Dosti is like KHNH, there are some scenes that are like KHNH, but they are much more effective in Dosti in my opinion. (I liked KNHN too though.) The scenes in KNHH are out of order at the end, and many could have been removed entirely without making any difference.
I'm not sure why you feel the need to compare Dosti and RDB anyway ... They are meant to do different things ... Not every movie has to be revolutionary like RDB pretends to be.
Okay first of all, Dosti is nothing compared RDB. Dosti had the most stupidest opening ever. I got two words for you “Pearl Harbor”. RDB, however, is very original and sends out very powerful message (the one with Agay Devgan not Bobby Deol). It’s also very historically accurate. i think Bobby Deol is overrated !!!!!!
