Wait, so Gloria had an abortion, then Ana took ker to bed to rest for a while, then she went to clean up and the fetus was not there. who took it ? if the premise is that Gloria had a schizophrenia attack or she was being the unborn child ( Blaming her self and the lesbian for not being born ). She could not have got up and take the fetus herself and come back to bed.

No one, it apparently "came to life" and killed people. At least, it would have to have if we look at what happened to Ana since nothing could have fit on that tiny shelf she was looking at and there was no one behind her. Unless she slit her own throat but if she did, how did she do it? With her nails?
In any case, the movie was horribly confused at to what it was trying to convey so really any explanation will work.
No, it WAS Gloria. When Ana went to clean up, she first saw Vicky was out of her room, got to the attic, spent a while with her and then put her back to bed. By that time, 'fetus' took over Gloria's personality (like in AH's Psycho), went downstairs, stole the fetus, and got back. She had time and strength cause it wasn't her at all during that period of time.
