Movies made in Turkey

I loved this film, mainly because i have lived in Turkey for some time and is my favourite holiday destination.

How many other films are out there that feature Turkey as part of the movie no matter how big or small, or have Turkish film stars.....

there is "midnight express" inspired from a true story ...but it was not shot on location in turkey.

That was a propaganda movie, anti-Turkish movie. There was a true story, but it definitely didn't inspire someone to create a hate movie. In fact the original author of the book condemned the movie for its hateful message.

That's right. Billy Hayes openly critisized the movie's deviation from reality..
But apart from all these things,this movie had a haunting effect on me.It's a well made movie.

One the Bond films, From Russia with Love, was filmed in old Istanbul.

Of course there's Topkapi.

I don't know how much of it was shot in Turkey. (IMDB says some was shot in Greece.)
