I thought the exact same thing! They also keept saying "PocketPC" and even had it written a few times (i guess a PocketPC could be running something besides windows).

You are truly an idiot. There are only two differences between MS and AAPL. The first being that MS actually allows 3rd parties to create software for Windows so that we're not reliant on their own brand (like apple). The second is that Apple has given their users a false sense of "community" which turns into smugness. Honestly the Mac is just a Unix box that doesn't give the user any power to do anything cool. It's like using a dumb-terminal. However, if you're content in using your computer only to the extent that a company allows, use Mac...real techies don't touch macs.
BTW, for my grandma or kid a mac is fine... Windows also has it's good and bad points. I use both on a daily basis at my job...However, I prefer Linux to both. Really, the main thing that bugs me about Mac "people" is their inability to realize that Apple's business practices and Operating system is just as bad as Microsoft's.

p.s. mac rocks the socks off of windows any day...while in sleep mode...and running off of reserve battery power...underwater...whilst gettinging struck by lightning...word!

Seriously, have you looked into the *beep* that you have to agree to in order to have Windows on your computer?
Frankly, I'd rather spend the time to learn an OS that isn't trying to rape me for every dollar I've got, so both Apple and Microsoft can go **** themselves. Leave mainstream OSes for the sheep.
Whatever you think of Microsoft v Apple, the product placement is laid on with a trowel.
