For any of you who have seen the movie Bad Grandpa, do you think they took the idea of the ending from this movie? And just took it a step further?

Definitely. Bad Grandpa also stole ideas from the movie Brewster McCloud. That movie has an old guy in a wheelchair lose control of the wheelchair and he goes all over town speeding down hills out of control.

I had to sit through coming attractions of Bad Grandpa and it made me moan. Robert DeNiro sold out. I'm sure they stole plots from Sunshine and there's no comparison. One was a delightful film the other a disgrace.
