Late May sounds about right. I am a member of the Iowa Digital Filmmakers Guild and we have monthly meetings. Tom Wheeler, head of the Iowa Film Office, usually comes to these meetings. He said that Sam Elliot may not be casted in this movie anymore and that they are trying to re-cast in L.A. right now. I sent my resume in to the producer and hopefully i can be a P.A. on this film. I would really love to!!!

Thanks for the update, John! The info I posted comes straight from Steve Schott (I called him on the phone).

Hopefully the re-cast won't delay shooting. Good luck getting the job!

I'll be seeing Michael Angarano this weekend and I'll put in a good word for ya. ;)

Larry,
Yeah, i hope the re-casting won't delay this film either. I'm so glad that we are having another major feature film being done here in the great state of Iowa!! I have heard that Steve is a great guy and a hard worker from Tom Wheeler. And yes...if you could put in a good word for me to Michael or anyone else would be absolutely AWESOME!!! If I got the chance to be a P.A. on this film, i would definitely work my butt off!!! Thanks again!!
