One scene I really liked
Was when Sapphira took Brom for one last ride on her back. The rest of the movie has its faults, to be sure. But I loved that scene.

Yes that was nice :). TBH honest the movie wasn't absolutely terrible, it was just a very thin adaption with some bad casting and poor attention to detail. However, it did have some wonderful visuals and some pretty awesome moments too. :). I just hope when the reboot happens (and it will) they decide to stay faithful to the book and deliver a great quality story.

There are some really good moments....unfortunately there some truly mindnumbingly awful bit too.
Rachel Weisz as the voice of the dragon was inspired though. Jeremy Irons gave a very good performance in a movie that didn't live up to him, as well. Been a fan of Garrett Hedland since I first saw him in this too.
Yes I totally agree.

I completely agree, that was the one good change they did from book-to-movie. It was a great scene, although it was at the cost of dropping the small bit about Brom's dragon being named Saphira as well which was a foreshadow for Brom being Eragon's father.
