This NEEDS to be remade for tv

This book saga would work great as a television series. TV shows adapted from books have recently been very popular and successful (I.e. Walking dead, game of thrones), and in the last few years tv shows have generally become more widely enjoyed and well-recieved than most films. If they hired a good cast of actors and a competent director then it could be great.

Each book could be one season of the show (an episode for each chapter). They would be able to make it basically word-for-word from the books: deviation from the source material was the film's biggest problem.

Even if the show weren't on regular tv and it was just a Netflix original like daredevil or stranger things, I would be happy
