3 Questions CONTAINS SPOILERS!

***Spoilers Ahead!***

Question #1: So, after killing her daughter and son-in-law, the grandmother hides Devon away, locking him in an attic for like 10 years. How did the "Bloody Boy" myth get started? From the details in the movie, he was only out (and bloody) once, when Symphony, Josh and Genesis were young. Is the town prone to hallucinations? And for that matter, why didn't the grandmother take Devon to the cops after she rescued him from being buried by his parents? It seems like the parents would be in a world of hurt from the cops for what they did to their child and the old woman.

Question #2: Being locked away for 10 years since he was 8, how did Devon get an aluminium baseball bat, a circular saw blade, a cutting torch/welder to cut the saw blade and attach it to the bat and the skill to operate a cutting torch/welder?

Question #3 Maybe I just live in a dull section of the world, but I've never met anyone whose name was Symphony, Genesis or Freedom . . . I have met a Fatima, but she was waaaaaay different than the blonde bimbo in this film. To top it off, they all attend the same high school, and appear to be in the same grade! Maybe their folks are all ex-hippes, or children of ex-hippies. Is Canyon City close to San Fransisco?
