i can't believe how aweful this movie was!!

I took the 5-7 minutes to register to post here just to warn others of how incredibly horrible this movie was. it was one long dialogue of cliches. i cant count how many sickly sweet montages there were showing our main character "falling in love." the soundtrack sounds like a made for tv movie from the 80's, and the acting was embarrassing to watch. i love to travel, was hoping that at least the scenery would give some value, but wasn't enough to save this train wreck of a "film." i am guessing they spent their entire budget getting to these locations and the plot, script, music, and cast were an afterthought.

i am truly appalled, this was a cinematic abortion.

The whole thing was just so unrealistic and basically took all the stereotypes about Central America and made them happen to the main fella.

Anyone keep a cliche count?

I think you meant awful, not aweful?

i can't believe how awesome this movie was!!
I watched it about 3 or 4 times alone and with friends when we were on the trip.
So what if it was unrealistic? It brings a bit of magic/mystery in the movie.

it is probably the best movie in 2008 for me.

for start it's unrealistic you will have robbed your room and in couple of hours been muggedon street and in between this have offer from couple of good looking naked dutch women to have sex with them, let's not forget czech girl played by some hispanic actress

it's movie full of BS, can't think about worse road movie than this crap and I know many road movies which are really not good, but this one is the worst

it is a fun movie, not a documentary.

There was nothing fun in this movie, is just cliche upon cliches. A perfectly good title wasted on a horrible movie.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who felt this... It's painful to watch, really... Cliché after cliché...
