Angel or Unknown Soldier?

I'd take Angel over Unknown Soldier. Unknown Soldier was definately similar, but I didn't care about the lead in U.S. as much. He was that typical misunderstood, sensitive teen lead; kindov one-dimensional. *********SPOILER*********
Angel tried strangling his step mom. He had rage and an inner conflict that really came across. Maybe it was just a matter of casting.

We're probably among a very small minority who's seen both of these indie gems.

Angel was more realistic to me. Angel is more typical of the youth in NY than the unknown soldier character. He was angry and abused and I see that every day. That mild mannered boy in US was just not as believable.
