cartoon fron the 80's

I remember watching a cartoon about how the world had changed and reformed everthing and everyone. Something about the world blending with another planet. Just cant for the life of me think of the name. It was kind of like He-man but in the future. On of the main characters was realy hairy. if anyone can help I would be appriaciated it. Also looking for a tv show that aired in the 80's about a man the createted a robot-female child. Dont think it lasted on tv that long. Thank you
