Watch The Original And Forget This Waste

This was part of a two pack that included Journey To The Center Of The Earth with Treat Williams. I should have known they couldn't sell this slop alone.

I love the original version that has Michael Callan in it. It has no CGI creatures and isn't gory and gross as this one was. It was made back when they cranked out the great sci fi and horror films.

To say the new version is bad is being kind. It was beyond bad. The acting was wooden and who would think of casting Kyle MacLachlan as a lead character. There was more animation in the trees than in his performance. And Patrick Stewart must be hard up for money to agree to be in this waste. Capt Nemo wasn't a man raised in India. Jules Vern should come out of his grave and beat over the head the writer, director and producer with the script.

They made parts of this movie gross to appeal to young males. Unfortunately, even young males don't want to waste two hours on this crap. I'm sorry but how hungry do you have to be to think a rat is appetizing.

Save two hours of your life. Watch the original or better yet go outside and enjoy some sunshine.

I always believed he was. It turns out Jules Verne also believed it and that's where I got my crazy idea.

I read it in several places also and Clive Cussler used the Nautilus and Jules Verne as part of a story line in one of his books. Captain Nemo was of Indian heritage from India.

Actually Nemo was. They got it right in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
