you've probably missed the earlier episodes of season 3, but their all on the n.com if you would like to watch them. Plus all of season 1 and 2 are also on there.

She left for war, he came back, wanted to move from Hawaii, she declined, they broke up.
Bailey's brother came down for a 'college tour,' but in actuality he came to smuggle drugs.
Dawn started liking Bailey after they started hanging out a lot, being two of the oldest of WaveSync. But then Dawn almost died and start falling in love with JJ, so she dumped Bailey.
