Red Eye questions (Heavy Spoilers)

Ok this is going to have spoilers in it, so you're warned.

I had watched the movie and there are somethings I may have missed or didn't catch regarding the two trains combinding themselves and who in the hell did the ghosts possess??? I figured it was the people who were killed that were possessed? There were some major plot holes in it on how it bounced. But I did understand when the switch took place was after the one guy started talking about the person with the briefcase is where it started the mix regarding the merged ghost train and regular train.

Who killed the smoking chic, the clepto-chic, and the psychic chic, and I figured who killed(?) photo boy. Pardon my expressions right now, I am partially blaming myself for lack of sleep.

ditto on being confused by this movie. i think the people who were killed on the train (girl in bathroom, and photo boy.etc) were killed by the old train attendent lady. what was her motive though? and i don't understand where the girl who died in the bathroom went...

somehow i think that the writers just threw together a bunch of so-called "scary scenes" that don't support the plot or have any significance to it....

Yeah but here is a trippy part, the photo boy, in the picture he took, it showed the live attendant girl out of so called possession. They scrambled the hell out of the story line.
