Half Goat Guy

the only thing i didn't like about this movie was that the character that is the half goat half guy wasn't really explained at the end, i'm assuming he was another vision...but how did she get a lift from an imaginary guy on an imaginary motorcycle? Did i miss something?

Hmm, I found Pan ('half goat guys' name)and his nymphs a bit confusing too although I really liked it, I like a bit of mythical fantasy in entertainment. Lola had obviously seen him considering she had so many portraits of him everywhere and there was a sort of mystical connection between Lola and Natasha that Georgie didn't have. I can't help you sorry, maybe if we watched it again there might be something we've missed. Or maybe if they do a spin-off TV series it will slowly be unravelled.

I agree, I thought that it was an element they added to link Natasha more to the supernatural/Lola, and also it's a storyline they could flesh out if it's made into a series. It's a bit of a shame because it seems slightly random as it is, but that's what I liked: It showed promise for the (hopeful) new series. I agree though that taken on its own it's a loose end, but I think that was a deliberate "teaser" so people would want a series.

Really enjoyed it, anyway. Hope to see more of it in the future. It rated well, right?

I simply though that the half man/goat was another figure that was seen as a vision, however when seen he is real, in other words, a "demon" that only natasha and Lola can see, but very real.

My sister and I taped it and watched it together last night.
I was confused by Pan (which IS actually the name for a half man half goat, as well as Satyr or Faun), but my sister thinks he was there to guide Natasha. Like when the house was buring down, he guided her out. Then we see the picture that has resemblence to him burning, and outside there is this grunting like noise, like an animal (the goat in him).

Part of the story of Pan is that he likes to deflower young maidens. I think in this movie he wanted to protect Natasha so he could have it off with her.
This is probably also what happened to Lola (remember that she stopped seeing visions after she "became sexually active"), which would also explain the drawings she had of Pan on the wall.
Interestingly though, in this movie instead of inticing the young maiden with a flute, he used a Harley Davidson.

You wouldn't happen to be in a position where you could send a copy to me at all. I actually read for some of the actors at warner bros. auditions and i missed out on watching it on TV. I really want to see how it goes. I even read sides for the role of Pan, and i was confused by his character. He is fantasy character that is really meant to show the connection between Lola and Natasha. I got the feeling that he was real to them but no one else. He guides young women in their 'unsure' times. I think?

Pan wasn't there to guide, he was there to stop the visions of Simon by having 'you know what' with Natasha.

Lola stated that she only saw visions of the dead girl until she did the deed and the same would apply to Natasha.

Pan's objective was to interfer with Simon getting justice for his death, by preventing Natasha from finding out who killed him, by doing the deed with her.

Does anyone know the name of the actor who played the Satyr (can't remember the character's name for the life of me)?
