I don't think people will take much notice of the opinions of one who can't spell American. Also what does "It sucks up one side and down the other," mean?

However this is your opinion so you're welcome to keep it but I think that this comedy is one of the freshest around and whilst some of the jokes are slightly pathetic or not well delivered there are moments that can be considered pure comedic genius.

I've seen most of the episodes now and it's surprisingly good.
Funniest bit: When drunk Pammy says "Has anyone ever told you you look like a panda?". (OK you have to see it).

Anyway we only have one good sitcom left in the UK (My Family) which is written by Americans, and produced in exactly the same way as American sitcoms.

Well, when I first found-out about this show (on The Daily Buzz), I thought "Oh god! Uck!" but, I was pleasantly surprised when I did start watching it, and I fell in love w/ it. So, I am VERY happy to tell you: it'll be released on region 1 dvd on December 12, 2006!!!! Yay!

I think it sucked, and agree with Adam. And by the way - when you critisize someone's (obvioous) slip of the key board... you should make sure you PUNCTUATION is up to snuff. This show sucked, and it was cancelled; if it was as fresh as you say it might still be on, but it's not.

I totally agree with you. Was this written by robots using Microsoft Sitcom? So predictable.

'Arrested Development' & 'Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia' - thats decent American comedy!

Most of these people who say it's one of the ''freshest comedies around'', are obviously DDAB! I mean, a show that get's cancelled after only 1 or 2 season's cannot be that good. Am I right? Don't answer that, I know I'm right. It was such a bad rip-off of the Irish-British produced series ''Black Books'' starring Dylan Moran.

Hey There... never saw "Black Book", but will check it out. Brits (IMHO) do t.v. (and often film...) better. They take more chances, and their humor is much more - not intelligent, they have fluff too - sharp somehow. Sit coms here in the U.S. of A. are obvious money machines. They are all starting to look the same & some of the actors are so .... BLAH. Nothing there. Who needs to see a character skirting around "bad words" when you can watch a cable show complete with explatives, and "adult situations".

oh plz the only comparison with black books is that its in a bookstore. Im not saying this is genius writing but its good for what it is.. doesnt really have to underdo for just shoot me deffently not the last seasons of jsm

Police Squad! was scrapped after 1 series (6 episodes).
Police Squad! was one of the funniest TV shows ever created, just because something gets cancelled doesn't mean it's not good.

However this is hardly an amazing show, it's amusing and I've seen shows a lot worse but there are more shows that got cancelled before this that should of survived.

Your right, Police Squad is one of the best shows ever, a lot of shows get cancelled early because of budget constraints or executives being too short sighted, I mean they tried to cancel family guy after one series, but that clawed its way through.

That's not always true, Arrested Development was canceled after like one season and it was a pretty good sitcom, better than some more successful sitcoms.

The same thing applies to other media like some good Movies not making enough profits in the Box Office or some good Music albums that didn't sell well.

Yes, both The Prisoner and Counterpart were HORRIBLE abs rightly cancelled after 2 seasons.

HI . wow i love hearing others perspectives. i really like this show.. its a lil fun mini series... its sweet! i like it i like all the characters tooo not harold so much. but if your a pam fan it's great as well

I think it's a pretty harmless show... not good, not bad, but WAY better than some other crappa.

I don't wanna waste one of these boulders - they're expensive!

Good lord! Harold was the funniest one on the show. You people have no sense of humor, that show was hilarious! I bought the DVD and I watch it regularly.
