So I was just curious, what is the best episode of this entire series.

I recently rewatched a bunch of episodes, and IMO, Pick Me Up is really great. The storyline is unexpected and interesting, the performances are exceptional, especially Michael Moriarty.

I also like Deer Woman because it's funny--John Landis has a real skill for balancing humor with horror. Landis' second episode, Family from season 2, is also great.

Cigarett Burns... I still think about it when I go into the movie theater.

Yes...Cigarette Burns. Also liked Carpenter's other ep Pro Life.

Cigarette burns. Hands down the best of the series. Season 2 didn't match the first unfortunately.
